Travel from the airport to apartment

There are 3 ways to get from the airport to the apartment:  From Terminal 1 -  The Express, this is €6 you buy a ticket in the airport kiosk, it is number 98 with Riquier written on the front (you can also get the 99 which stops a little further up Bld Gambetta).  Ask for stop Gambetta/Promenade. It is just across the road from bld Gambetta, you can cross at traffic lights directly at Bld Gambetta and walk a short way along the east side and there is the apartment  block on the corner.

If you cross car park and go up the walkway to the main road there is a bus stop where many buses stop (the 52, 59, 70 or 23) just ask for Gambetta/Promenade.  This only costs €1.50 and you pay as you get on the bus, the 23 bus get off at stop Bottero/Gambetta   turn right and walk towards sea direction two short blocks down Gambetta  and there is number 6 diagonally opposite on the corner of Rue de France. The building is called Imperator.

To return to the airport catch the 52, 59, 70 or 23 in the Promenade at our side of road stop Gambetta/Promenade and get off at stop marked aeroport.  There are traffic lights and white lines for crossing directly into the airporr terminal 1. Remember to press the button for stopping.  There are steps down and a walkway under the highway to terminal 1 car park also.

Pat will meet you at the building with the keys and show you round  the apartment.  You will contact her by email as soon as your flights are booked.  She will track the flight arrival and ask you to text her as you are leaving the luggage area.

If you come into Terminal 2 with Easy jet get the free shuttle to Terminal 1 very short distance away and same instructions as above apply.

  • I asked my recent guests how they travelled to Nice and this was their reply, it could be useful for those seeking alternatives to Heathrow, Luton or Gatwick.
  • “We flew from London City to Nice and got a taxi which was really easy; and then for returning got the TGV from Nice Ville to Paris and then the Eurostar to London, it was a really nice way to travel and highly recommend it for your next visitors”
  • Only comment I would make is that it is not necessary to get a taxi, there is a very good express service practically to the doorstep and many local buses to the Promenade des Anglais very close by.
